Drawing Room Interiors specified Shackletons for a brand new 45 bedroom home for dementia and nursing care.

The interior was designed by Diana Celella and the project brief was to create a homely care home which was not institutional in appearance and used evidence-based design to create a dementia friendly interior which promotes confidence and independence.

The design connects with the local area using local history, geography and attractions for inspiration.

Furniture featured:

I selected furniture from Shackletons because they give excellent personal service as well as quality products. There is a good selection of styles to choose from which can be given their own personality with choice of fabrics. The chairs and tables are made with the care home market in mind so have appropriate ergonomics to give residents more independence and confidence.
