Each piece of Shackletons furniture is handmade in England using only the highest quality materials. From the sustainable timbers used in our frames, and the quality and variety of our foams and fillings, to the environmentally friendly water-based paints and sprays used to finish our furniture.
Our talented craftsmen and craftswomen work to the highest standards taking the time to cut, stitch and assemble our furniture into the finished article. They take pride in their work and only pass it to the next stage of production once they are satisfied.
Our quality control department work to rigorous standards inspecting frames and fabrics on arrival prior to production through to a detailed inspection on completion looking for any blemishes or imperfections before leaving our factory. If they are not 100% satisfied with the quality, the furniture will be re-worked.
